Preisgünstigeres Studium am TAFE & College

  • TAFEs sind staatliche Berufsschulen in Australien, welche sich vorrangig auf Berufsausbildungen konzentrieren, aber in einigen australischen Staaten auch Studiengänge anbieten.

  • Es gibt private Colleges in Australien, welche neben Berufsausbildungen auch Studiengänge anbieten, bzw. ausschließlich höhere Ausbildungen wie Bachelor und Master Degrees anbieten.

Ein Studium (Bachelor oder Master) an einem TAFE oder privaten College kann um einiges preisgünstiger sein als an einer Universität.

Wir empfehlen, dass

  • du zuerst prüfst, ob es für deinen Studiengang ein Stipendium von einer Universität gibt und was der Endpreis sein wird,

  • du abwägst, welchen Kurs du finanzieren kannst,

  • du entscheidest, ob der Preis, die Ausbildung, oder der Ruf des Institutes wichtiger für deinen späteren Abschluss und Karriere sind.

Laut der australischen Regierung werden höhere Abschlüsse vom TAFE und College gleichermaßen in Australien anerkannt wie ein Degree einer australischen Universität. In der Praxis kann dies jedoch individuell bewertet werden und ein Abschluss einer Elite Universität wird hierbei sicherlich höher eingeschätzt, kostet jedoch auch wesentlich mehr.

  • Bachelors beginnen normalerweise im Feb/Jul – andere Starttermine sind unten jeweils angegeben.

  • Die Regel-Studienzeit eines Bachelor Degrees beträgt 3 Jahre. Längere Studienzeiten sind jeweils aufgeführt.

  • Manche Kurse können zusätzliche Zulassungsbedingungen besitzen.

Bildungskredite werden oftmals nur für anerkannte Universitätsabschlüsse vergeben, was du bei der Kostenplanung beachten solltest.

 

Solltest du deine Ausbildung anteilig mit einem Bildungskredit finanzieren wollen, sollte im Vorfeld geprüft werden, ob dies für dein Institut in Frage kommt.
